Do you wonder why Easter is such a big deal?

Clarence W. Hall wrote:

“The resurrection of Jesus changes the face of death for all His people. Death is no longer a prison, but a passage into God’s presence. Easter says you can put truth in a grave, but it won’t stay there. You can nail it to a cross, wrap it in winding sheets and shut it up in a tomb, but it will rise!”

When we say “He is Risen!”, it’s much more than a simple platitude - it’s a powerful declaration of Christ’s triumph over the “last great enemy” of humanity: Death. Through Christ’s triumph, He shares his victory with us!

John 3:16 says:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Easter is a big deal - so join us to remember and celebrate the gift of eternal life that God lavishes on us through the power of Jesus Christ!
