We give because God
generously gives to us.

Proverbs 3:9 reminds us to honor the Lord with everything we own. We are to give Him our first and our best. Your generous giving helps support the facilities, administration and ministries of Journey Bible Church, but it also goes to support ministry efforts beyond the walls of our church. Each year, the people of Journey Bible Church give generously to benevolence, orphans, local and global missions.

We want everyone to encounter and embrace the generous nature of our gracious God. Next, we desire for you to experience the blessings of practicing a God-like generous lifestyle (2 Cor. 9:6-15). We want to see people move from using their time, talents, and treasure for self and self’s purposes to using everything to glorify God and accomplish God’s purposes.  

Living a generous life is a journey, and not everyone is in the same place. However, we want everyone to experience the fullness of Kingdom living right now. 

We encourage you to consider where you are today and take the next step in your generosity journey! 

Discovery Giver: Moving From Nothing to Something 

  • As you learn about the Bible’s teaching on generosity, are you ready to take a step of faith and make your first gift to Journey Bible Church?   

Regular Giver: Moving From Something to Consistent 

  • Do you give irregularly? Take a next step of faith and continue by giving more regularly to the Lord.    

  •  Take a next step of faith and establish a recurring gift. 

 Invested Giver: Moving From Consistent to Percentage 

  • Giving out of a cheerful and devoted heart, will you trust God with your resources by becoming a percentage giver?  

  • Take a deeper step of faith and grow your giving towards a tithe.   

Radical Giver: Moving From Percentage to Everything  

  • Being fully surrendered to Jesus Christ, entrusting not only a full tithe to God’s use, will you step beyond your current giving to the point of sacrifice?  

  • Take continued steps of faith and give generously beyond a tithe, working towards a plan to give of your wealth not just your income.
